Super friendly and helpful. My car is ten years old and needs a lot of help. I was expecting to spend so much more while there, very reasonable. Comfortable waiting room and even offered us a ride. Such great service. Highly recommend!!

Fixed me right up. Kind of expensive but this is mostly do to me not expecting as much work was needed to my car than was actually needed. They answered all my questions. Will absolutely return and recommend.

Thanks J.R.!

Took my girlfriends 2011 Mazda in today for an oil change and brake inspection, (she had been taking it to the local Mazda dealership, but had several pretty poor customer service experiences). The service advisor was very friendly and engaging, when I initially arrived as well as when I returned to pick it up. I appreciated that he took the time to answer the questions I had and clearly advise me about what to expect to pay for future service. I am very pleased, and since I just moved to the area and had been looking for a good independent shop. After today I believe I have found one! I did try another place in Broomfield a few months ago and wasn't nearly as impressed. So a few weeks I thought to ask the folks at the local Napa auto parts store who they would recommend, and they wrote down a few names including 5th Gear.

I'm pretty leery of trying new shops. I have college auto mechanic training and have worked on most vehicles I have owned for the last 30 years - including my bikes. So, I tend to be pretty careful. This trip in was for an alignment after I installed new aftermarket springs and KYB AGX struts on my Soobie. Scheduling was easy, the guy making the appt was cool. Price was cheaper than my normal place for a 4 wheel alignment by $20. Picked it up without a hassle, but good solid info on what changes were made and an issue with the stock top hats I left on it. No attempt to sell me anything either. All in all, I feel comfortable sending my other vehicles in for work. I didn't get the "looking to make a buck" feel here.

I was having some transmission issues and was in need of a transmission flush. Along with the flush I also got an oil change. Their prices are competitive and their service is solid. It's really hard to find a trusted mechanic, especially when your not from the area. No one tried to push unnecessary sales pitches at me, in fact they saved me money with their suggestions. The wait is worth the service. It's been two months now and my car is running like butter. Thanks for the quality work!

Brought my Tundra in for a brake job and after a few months the back brakes were acting up. Dennis resolved to my satisfaction. Fabulous service!

I really appreciate that the guys here DON'T try to sell me unnecessary maintenance to my car (a big deal for a 20-something female). They are always upfront, kind, and listen when I have concerns about the maintenance. In addition, they are efficient and totally reasonable for cost. I feel I can address any car concerns with them and they will be up front about what really needs to be done and what can wait. Finally, I think what a mechanic's shop looks like says a lot about the work they do. The shop is clean and organized, which becomes just another reason to choose to get your car maintenance done at 5th Gear. I love this place. I have had them work on the two vehicles I have owned- a 2005 RAV4 and a 2008 RDX. If you want competent, honest mechanics at a reasonable price, this is your shop.
