They did the maintenance on my Prius. Not only they were very nice and competent, they took care of my car very well and very fast. I will go back there if I have any other maintenance or mechanical repair without any hesitation. Highly recommended!!! Update: I received a recall for my Prius from Toyota to change some parts related to the direction. I brought my car there since replacing this part was free. After replacing it, I received a phone call from the Toyota dealer telling me that they had found a few things to replace urgently on my car (for at least $600). After telling them to not do anything besides the free replacement, I brought my car to 5th Gear Automotive Service and ask them to give me a quote on all the repairs the Toyota dealer highly recommended. They checked my car and after a few hours explained to me very nicely that what Toyota wanted to change wasn't that urgent. I have driven my car for a few months since their last check-up and didn't have any issues with it. They made me save a lot of money. It is such a relief to find a honest and competent mechanic who is not trying to find more repairs than necessary. At last a mechanic that I can trust! I could not recommend this place more.

Had several things done on different occasions including a strut that needed more work after the fact and they took care of it free of charge. Honest, efficient, and they stand behind their work. Maybe a bit more expensive than some places but worth it. Highly recommended.

We took in our 99 Mercedes because the #1 rated shop recommended them for imports. I really love my car right now and I feared the worst. The staff was a dream to work with, especially Gracie the resident great dane. Great customer service, great pricing, good communication. They didn't charge for storage, or complain when it took me nearly two weeks to get a new key in (even though a new key only takes 2 days to receive). They were upfront about their prices... I was completely happy and satisfied with the attention they paid to detail and the extra length they went to assure my car was in top shape. I like this place...... HIGHLY RECOMMEND

For the past 2 years, my 2005 Prius would periodically not start right away. The instrument panel would freeze and I had to hold down the start button to reboot the system (like you do on a computer that freezes). My fear was that the problem was electrical. One morning my car would not start at all, the instrument panel would light up and freeze. Because of the reviews on Yelp and because 5th Gear lists Prius as a car they work on, I called them. They towed my car to their shop and found out my car battery (not the expensive ones) needed replaced. With the new batter its like I have a new car. Another mechanic might have played on my fear of the problem being electrical and charged me a lot more. I'll keep going back as long as they stay honest.

Quite simply the best, most honest shop I have ever dealt with. Every interaction has been awesome! They are pleasant, do good work, charge fair prices, and give good advice on what needs to be fixed, and what can wait. Everything you could wish for in a shop.

Nice place. These guys are personable. The huge dog they had in the office was docile and loved by my daughter. They were very busy so I guess they are doing something right. My diesel emissions was done quickly. I will use them again. I would recommend them.

I was recommended to 5th Gear after purchasing my daughter a used Jeep Wrangler that developed a coolant leak shortly after we got it home by my father-in-law. He has been taking his 95 Chevy Lumina there for years, and recommended them for their honesty and reasonable prices. I have to say that his advice to me was spot-on. I have had work done on 3 vehicles at 5th Gear - and the work was always done for a reasonable amount, in the time promised, and I have never had to return due to a repair failure. They are prompt, professional, and will give you a ride home if needed when dropping off your vehicle!

I had been told by Sill-Terhar (the dealership) that my Mazda had a cracked radiator frame and that I NEEDED to pay $600 for the repair or my radiator would fall out while I was driving, I'd die for sure in a flaming wreck, etc. etc. It was a lot of money, so I took it to 5th Gear for a second opinion. After checking it out for 5 minutes, he told me the crack was cosmetic, neither I nor my car were in any danger at all, and he wouldn't feel right about taking any of my money to fix it because it was not a big deal in any way. Thanks for your honesty, 5th Gear. I found other, better ways to spend that $600. :-)

After reading the reviews of 5th Gear on Yelp, I knew it was a service facility that was honest and reliable. The reviews were right. I called to get an estimate for replacing the front struts on my 2004 SUV. Dennis not only gave me an estimate, but quoted what the actual price would be. I am very happy with the work they performed and the price was much less than the dealer price. As a recent Colorado transplant, I am so pleased that I have found a repair facility that I can trust. I will definitely be taking my cars to 5th Gear in the future.

I found 5th Gear on Yelp looking for a place for an oil change. I'm fairly new to the area and the last place I got my oil changed I ended up forking over $80 for unnecessary things. I was worried I would run into guys doing the same thing. Fortunately 5th Gear was great! They were polite, didnt try to get me to pay for things I didn't need, and he used a coupon I didn't know they had online for the oil change. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!
